Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology, energy, or utilities industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with product management, sales, client success, and engineering teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and initiate new projects independently.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Curiosity and the ability to iterate quickly on new ideas.
  • Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on customers and the challenges they face around distributed energy resource (DER) adoption.
  • Craft compelling messaging and solution-level narratives that align with company positioning to target utilities.
  • Train Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams on solution value and buyer personas.
  • Lead the creation of persuasive product marketing collateral, such as sales enablement materials, fact sheets, presentations, and case studies.
  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new launches and features.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and track key performance indicators.
