Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnership development, or account management.
- Proven success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in performing arts, events, education, or medical sales.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with organizational and analytical abilities.
- Confident public speaker comfortable representing the brand at live events.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tracking, and Google or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep appreciation for dance, the arts, and community development.
- Ability to travel up to 75% for conventions, events, and studio visits.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and flexible hours during event seasons.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with DanceOne’s goals for growth and brand impact.
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with studio owners, educators, and partners to expand participation.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets within the dance and performing arts industries.
- Represent DanceOne at conventions, events, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and events teams.
- Maintain and track a healthy sales pipeline, report on performance metrics, and forecast future growth.
- Provide field insights to inform programming, messaging, and partnership initiatives.
- Support client retention through personalized communication and follow-up.
