Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing engineers.
- Proven track record of delivering production software at scale in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical grounding in web application architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and delivery velocity across multiple initiatives.
- Prior experience hiring and developing high-performing engineers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills working cross-functionally with Product & Design.
- 3+ years in a hyper-growth company (preferred).
- Experience leading and using AI-Native software delivery workflows and tools (preferred).
- Experience building 0→1 product teams or launching new B2B integrations in health tech (preferred).
- Experience working in healthcare, wellness, or regulated industries (preferred).
- Strong operational discipline including metrics, retros, and postmortems (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to build, scale, and maintain high-impact consumer-facing applications.
- Apply deep full-stack (FE/BE) building experience to ensure technical excellence across platforms.
- Act as a key driver in shaping engineering culture.
- Hold a strong performance bar to support Rula's mission.
- Drive accountability and delivery velocity across multiple initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design teams.
