Requirements
- 3+ years in engineering management with a track record of building and shipping application platforms.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience at the application or product tier.
- Proven experience driving outsized impact from small technical or product changes.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and deliver continuous value.
- Strategic insight to optimize for both long-term and short-term platform impact.
- Track record of prioritizing by impact, leveraging existing assets, and scaling through platform-level thinking.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, design, and data teams.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and create career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Hire and lead the Growth Platform's first engineering team while setting culture, operating rhythm, and engineering standards.
- Build product capabilities such as personalized messaging, self-service publishing, and cross-system integrations to facilitate growth experiments.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven approaches to scale quality validation, experiment governance, and content selection.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding architecture decisions and reviewing system designs.
- Partner with Marketing, product, and growth teams to align on cross-channel messaging and identify platform needs.
- Shape the platform vision and roadmap based on adoption, impact, and learnings from iterative shipping.
