Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in higher education with adult students in an online setting, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and manage performance in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret funnel data for operational strategies.
  • Experience with CRM, LMS, and SIS platforms.
  • Knowledge of adult learner challenges and needs.
  • Knowledge of FERPA regulations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to travel 3–5 days bi-monthly.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends during peak enrollment periods.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily activities, priorities, and workload for the Application Specialist (APS) team.
  • Monitor funnel metrics including contact rates, application completion, and admit-to-start conversion.
  • Coach APS team members through one-on-ones, call reviews, and performance development plans.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert in partner-facing meetings regarding admissions, financial aid, and processes.
  • Maintain institutional knowledge base and train staff on partner-specific policies and systems.
  • Categorize and prioritize student issues for escalation and resolution with partner institutions.
  • Validate systems and workflows for new partner launches and ensure team access to tools.
  • Monitor data integrity and ensure team compliance with FERPA and internal security policies.
