Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record as a Technical Lead or Staff Engineer.
- Expertise in designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Ability to influence technical direction and navigate performance/reliability tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of global media processing and delivery infrastructure for low-latency, high-availability media.
- Build and optimize resilient backend services for video/audio ingestion, distributed transcoding, and CDN routing.
- Partner with ML/AI teams to support media recommendation, intelligent content moderation, and GenAI inference.
- Establish engineering best practices and define strict SLOs/SLAs for media operations.
- Guide and empower multiple engineering teams by translating complex product requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate system design and prototyping.
