Requirements
- 15 or more years in operations, supply chain, or general management.
- At least 8 years in a senior executive seat (COO, VP or SVP of Operations, GM, or similar).
- Proven track record of building operating systems from the ground up, including KPIs and planning cadences.
- Logistics or distribution experience with heavy industrial or renewable energy products such as transformers, batteries, trackers, or modules.
- Hands-on leadership experience in managing WMS, TMS, ERP, and CRM projects from decision to go-live.
- Experience running a multi-site or contracted 3PL network at scale.
- Ability to partner with a CEO, Board, and executive peers in a hands-on, growth-stage environment.
- Nice to have: Direct experience in solar, storage, or renewable energy distribution.
- Nice to have: Experience with NetSuite or operating models such as EOS or Traction.
- Nice to have: Background in PE-backed or founder-led companies.
Responsibilities
- Direct the full operations function across warehousing, freight, inventory, and fulfillment.
- Manage a national network of 3PL partners, carrier selection, and specialized freight for heavy, oversized, and hazmat cargo.
- Define company KPIs, operating rhythm, and accountability structures through regular business reviews and dashboards.
- Build and optimize team structure to support scaling goals.
- Oversee the operational infrastructure for sales and business development, including CRM, forecasting, and pricing discipline.
- Lead strategy and rollout for core operational technology stack including WMS, TMS, CRM, and ERP.
- Direct compliance functions, including DOT hazmat and oversized-load permitting and commercial contract oversight.
