Requirements
- 1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage environment
- Experience selling with multiple carriers across multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry, etc.)
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Strong understanding of insurance products and policy processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools
- Call or contact center experience
- Bilingual ability (Spanish) preferred
- Experience with Citizens Property Insurance preferred
Responsibilities
- Connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand their insurance needs and recommend tailored coverage solutions
- Clearly communicate the features and benefits of products from multiple insurance carriers
- Work primarily with company-provided qualified leads to maximize sales opportunities
- Consistently follow up with prospects to move them through the sales funnel
- Meet or exceed sales goals by applying effective sales strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriters and customer service teams
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM tools
- Build customized policies for customers using internal quoting systems
- Educate homeowners on insurance coverage options
