Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in systems engineering, software/hardware development, requirements, traceability, V&V, quality, or compliance.
- Deep familiarity with regulated environments like medical device, automotive, aerospace, defense, or semiconductor industries.
- Demonstrated background applying Specification-Driven Development (SDD) within complex environments.
- Proven experience in customer-facing advisory, executive education, strategic sales support, or transformation leadership.
- Proven track record engaging and influencing senior leaders like VPs, CTOs, or Heads of Product/Quality.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, including requirements, specifications, and compliance artifacts.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, facilitation, and consultative problem-solving skills.
- Nice to have: Jama Connect platform expertise or experience with ALM/PLM tools like IBM DOORS, Siemens Polarion, PTC Codebeamer, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and AI agent application frameworks.
- Nice to have: Advanced degree in systems, software, computer, electrical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Jama executive leadership and Solutions Consulting teams to shape SDD strategy, customer narratives, strategic opportunity positioning, and our broader market point of view.
- Lead senior customer advisory engagements across Jama’s most strategic revenue opportunities.
- Translate complex engineering environments into clear business cases, executive presentations, proof-of-value strategies, and measurable outcomes via Jama Connect.
- Serve as a market-facing subject matter expert and evangelist for SDD through executive education, customer forums, webinars, and industry events.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to convert direct customer signals into product requirements and AI-led engineering workflows.
- Collaborate across GTM teams to turn emerging SDD themes into repeatable messaging, technical use cases, and enablement plays.
