Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable backend systems.
- Proficiency in GoLang, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Extensive experience writing code with unit tests and end-to-end tests.
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design to iterate on product experiences.
- Appetite for using AI tools to unpack and simplify technical complexity.
- Prior experience in Ad Tech is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Deliver critical projects that bring value to customers as a significant individual contributor.
- Mentor the team and lead by example to uphold software development best practices.
- Conduct rigorous code and technical specification reviews.
- Architect scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems aligned with roadmap goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to identify and solve technical challenges.
- Advise teams on technical debt consolidation.
- Identify system-wide bottlenecks and performance issues, providing actionable solutions.
- Conduct technical interviews to attract and identify high-performing candidates.
