Job Details

At least seven years of total professional engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with back-end languages: Python (preferred), Java, C++, or Go.
Experience with front-end technologies: JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or VueJS.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
Expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks, and dbt.
Proven track record of driving cross-team technical initiatives from inception to completion.
Strong ability to author TDDs or similar technical design proposals that build stakeholder consensus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for navigating cross-functional disagreement.
Understanding of non-functional requirements in data pipeline development.

Function as Tech Lead on projects spanning multiple squads, including scoping, staging, and dependency management.
Draft and drive Technical Design Docs (TDDs) for cross-team initiatives, gathering requirements and building consensus.
Own large portions of the core product end-to-end, ensuring high-quality and on-time project delivery.
Develop and maintain mission-critical data pipelines to ensure scalability, efficiency, and data integrity.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, specifically sponsoring their first cross-team projects.
Proactively identify and address technical debt across team lines.
Set technical direction and influence architectural decisions at the project or service level.
