Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure teams of 5-15 engineers.
- Deep technical experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Proven experience migrating applications to Kubernetes/EKS and implementing container-based architectures.
- Strong background in security practices and compliance frameworks such as PCI, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Experience transforming CI/CD pipelines and implementing GitOps practices.
- Expertise in implementing observability tools like DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across product, data, and platform services teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term infrastructure and security strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure and reliability engineers.
- Partner with Product and Data Engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs.
- Drive architectural decisions for cloud platform, security, and operational reliability.
- Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.
- Manage and maintain compliance frameworks including PCI, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
