Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with a professional phone presence.
  • Proven experience in dispatching, scheduling, or operations management in a service-based business.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and real-time schedule changes.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms; experience with Jobber is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and own operational tasks without constant oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and field technicians.
  • Experience handling customer objections and following up on sales inquiries.
  • Home services industry experience (e.g., garage doors, HVAC, plumbing) strongly preferred.
  • Requirement to submit a 1 to 2-minute Loom video introduction with the application.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule customer appointments and dispatch technicians based on location, availability, and job type.
  • Manage daily technician schedules and adjust in real time as jobs are completed, delayed, or added.
  • Coordinate with field technicians throughout the day to ensure jobs are running on time.
  • Answer inbound customer calls and resolve service issues or complaints with a solutions-first approach.
  • Prepare estimates and quotes while following up on open sales opportunities.
  • Create invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records and job history in Jobber or a similar CRM.
