Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, including experience as a Lead Engineer, Owner’s Engineer, or Technical Principal.
- At least 4 years of experience supervising, mentoring, or leading technical personnel.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong understanding of power systems, generation interconnection, and high-voltage infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical work while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary design team environments.
- 10+ years of experience in power generation, utility, or related industrial power design projects (preferred).
- Experience with Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, RICE, Steam, BESS, or Microgrids (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key technical resource for the Power Generation Design team.
- Establish engineering standards, project execution strategies, and mentor team members.
- Lead conceptual through detailed design for site planning, generation systems, MV/LV distribution, Balance of Plant (BOP), and process automation.
- Establish design templates, checklists, and QA/QC standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineers.
- Serve as the Technical Authority in client meetings and design reviews.
