Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of leadership experience in healthcare or pharmacy operations.
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and performance excellence.
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale operations teams (70+ members) highly preferred.
- Expertise in process development, process mapping, and process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clinical professionals in hospital or provider settings.
- Experience in specialty pharmacy operations, including refill management, prior authorization, and benefits investigation.
- Strong proficiency in CRM platforms, automated systems, and data analytics tools.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for specialty pharmacy refill management and inbound pharmacy call operations.
- Develop and implement scalable operational strategies to enhance service delivery and productivity.
- Lead and facilitate strategic discussions with regional and senior leadership to drive continuous improvements.
- Monitor and manage budgets while ensuring operational performance targets are met.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by assessing workflows and implementing best practices.
- Manage and prioritize work across multiple sites with responsibility for 75+ employees.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and development plans for supervisors, team leads, and specialists.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and clinical teams to resolve operational challenges and improve patient support.
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure success, identify opportunities, and execute data-driven initiatives.
