Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Registered Nurse (RN) degree with current state license strongly preferred.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, MSN) preferred.
- 8–12+ years of experience in oncology patient access, market access, or pharmaceutical patient service programs.
- 3+ years of experience leading hub case manager teams.
- Proven experience supporting specialty or oral oncology launches in start-up or high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of payer dynamics, specialty pharmacy/distribution models, and reimbursement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead national teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in compliance standards relevant to oncology nurse case manager roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a national team of Case Managers (CMs) to support patient access to therapies.
- Develop and execute launch strategy for Patient Support Services in collaboration with Field Reimbursement Directors and Market Access teams.
- Establish KPIs for patient access milestones, including benefit verification, PA status, and pharmacy dispense timing.
- Manage cross-functional partnerships with third-party hubs, specialty pharmacies, and internal leadership.
- Ensure compliant communication regarding coverage, reimbursement, and financial assistance pathways.
- Analyze performance data and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to address access barriers.
