Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Registered Nurse (RN) degree with current state license strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, MSN) preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in oncology patient access, market access, or pharmaceutical patient service programs.
  • 3+ years of experience leading hub case manager teams.
  • Proven experience supporting specialty or oral oncology launches in start-up or high-growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of payer dynamics, specialty pharmacy/distribution models, and reimbursement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead national teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in compliance standards relevant to oncology nurse case manager roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a national team of Case Managers (CMs) to support patient access to therapies.
  • Develop and execute launch strategy for Patient Support Services in collaboration with Field Reimbursement Directors and Market Access teams.
  • Establish KPIs for patient access milestones, including benefit verification, PA status, and pharmacy dispense timing.
  • Manage cross-functional partnerships with third-party hubs, specialty pharmacies, and internal leadership.
  • Ensure compliant communication regarding coverage, reimbursement, and financial assistance pathways.
  • Analyze performance data and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to address access barriers.
