Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Master’s in taxation, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of progressive corporate tax experience with a focus on international tax strategies, models, and compliance.
- 10+ years of U.S. 'Big Four' tax and audit experience with public corporations.
- Direct experience deploying tax technology, ERP tax configuration, or product management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executive and financial audiences.
- Deep technical knowledge of U.S. federal, international, and indirect tax law.
- Experience with tax software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
- Ability to travel globally (at least 25% annually) and work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
- U.S. licensed JD, LLM, or CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess global legislative changes and industry trends across 150+ countries.
- Manage and lead a team of business solution analysts responsible for regulatory and tax change assessment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure regulatory updates are scoped, analyzed, and well-documented.
- Represent Rimini Street in client-facing marketing and sales activities to articulate the tax, legal, and regulatory strategy.
- Partner with the Global Product Delivery team on innovative service delivery and technology strategies.
- Explain complex tax concepts clearly to non-tax professional audiences through presentations and demonstrations.
- Advise on cost-efficient methods and tools to validate the accuracy and timeliness of legislative updates.
