Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of outside sales experience.
  • Proven track record in business-to-business (B2B) sales, preferably in food service or hospitality.
  • Strong record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Self-disciplined and capable of managing a pipeline from a home-office.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, negotiate, and close high-value contract opportunities.
  • Develop proposals for prospective chain accounts with 75+ locations.
  • Maintain customer and prospect relationships through proactive communication and pipeline management.
  • Manage and initiate complex proposals and service agreements for new and existing customers.
  • Achieve sales targets established by senior leadership.
  • Directly manage the premier account prospect pipeline and provide accurate, timely forecasts.
  • Utilize company sales tools and prospect lists to identify, pursue, and close new business.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with corporate office staff and cross-departmental teammates.
