Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Five or more years of outside sales experience.
- Proven track record in business-to-business (B2B) sales, preferably in food service or hospitality.
- Strong record of exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Self-disciplined and capable of managing a pipeline from a home-office.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, negotiate, and close high-value contract opportunities.
- Develop proposals for prospective chain accounts with 75+ locations.
- Maintain customer and prospect relationships through proactive communication and pipeline management.
- Manage and initiate complex proposals and service agreements for new and existing customers.
- Achieve sales targets established by senior leadership.
- Directly manage the premier account prospect pipeline and provide accurate, timely forecasts.
- Utilize company sales tools and prospect lists to identify, pursue, and close new business.
- Establish collaborative relationships with corporate office staff and cross-departmental teammates.
