Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of delivery management experience embedded within software engineering teams in a fintech or similarly regulated environment.
- Proven experience building or improving delivery systems, including reducing carryover and improving commitment reliability.
- Deep SDLC fluency, including release management, dependency modeling, and cross-team coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira for dependency tracking and operational insight.
- Proven experience managing Kanban-based teams in service-oriented or platform engineering environments.
- Demonstrated use of flow metrics (lead time, cycle time, WIP) as operational tools for managing team health.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted tooling to improve delivery throughput and reduce overhead.
- Ability to influence engineer and product manager behavior through structure and data.
- Comfort operating in API-heavy, integration-dependent backend environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve delivery visibility across complex, dependency-heavy work by tracking cross-team blockers and risks.
- Model the impact of scope changes and capacity constraints to present clear trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Drive backlog readiness and dependency mapping to ensure execution stability.
- Identify and manage delivery risks by quantifying impact and framing resolution paths for leadership.
- Leverage AI tooling to accelerate status synthesis, risk narrative generation, and operational documentation.
- Manage delivery metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and carryover to drive structural team improvements.
- Enforce sprint entry discipline, manage release schedules, and coordinate across cross-functional engineering, QE, and platform teams.
