Requirements
- Pre-sales experience required.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
- Superior knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
- Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Native architectures, On-Prem, Public Cloud, and Containers.
- Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
- Ability to contribute to or lead RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer business drivers and decision-making motivations.
- Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes.
- Partner with account managers and channel partners to execute account strategy.
- Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
- Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
- Capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions.
- Contribute to and lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
