Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Developer Relations, or similar technical pre-sales roles
- Proven success supporting complex SaaS or API-driven enterprise sales cycles
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby, or similar)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and modern integration patterns
- Ability to analyze customer architectures and propose practical implementation approaches
- Strong consultative discovery skills with the ability to uncover technical and business needs
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments with strong ownership mindset
- Passion for developer tools, APIs, and improving software development experiences
Responsibilities
- Own technical discovery sessions, solution design, and demonstrations for net-new opportunities
- Partner with Account Executives to build technical win strategies and drive deal progression
- Design and deliver tailored demos, architectures, and proof-of-concept environments
- Support integration validation, including APIs, authentication, webhooks, and system architecture alignment
- Build lightweight prototypes, code samples, and technical assets to accelerate evaluations
- Lead technical due diligence, security conversations, and RFP/RFI responses
- Surface customer insights and competitive feedback to Product and Engineering teams
- Contribute reusable demos and enablement materials to improve team-wide effectiveness
