Requirements
- Deep experience in CI/CD and Release Engineering environments.
- Expertise in Buildkite, Backstage, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Bundler/dependency management.
- Experience managing runtime and framework upgrades for Ruby/Rails platforms.
- Knowledge of Auth0, OAuth, OIDC, and machine-to-machine authentication.
- Experience in operational support, on-call, and incident analysis.
- Familiarity with PAAS environments.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Terraform/infrastructure-as-code experience (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead technical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable CI/CD workflows and automation templates.
- Enhance Backstage as a developer portal for better CI/CD visibility and self-service.
- Improve developer feedback loops by reducing flaky pipelines and increasing observability.
- Lead or contribute to major Ruby and Rails platform upgrades across the organization.
- Standardize and operationalize authentication/authorization patterns like Auth0/OIDC.
- Partner with service teams to drive adoption of internal platform investments.
- Use and share best practices for AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery.
