Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 15+ years in business development and solution sales related with Smart Factory, Industrial Automation, or advanced manufacturing solutions
- 5+ years in a leadership/management role, with a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and achieving $100M+ annual targets
- Extensive experience in managing long-cycle, complex consultative sales within the Heavy Industry, Automotive, Battery, Pharmaceutical, F&B and other industries
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technological value propositions to non-technical C-suite executives
- Experience navigating global matrix organizations and managing cross-border business complexities
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing automation, digital transformation, and smart factory ecosystem
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overarching GTM (Go-To-Market) strategy for Smart Factory solutions, aligning with LG’s global business objectives
- Manage revenue targets and profitability (margin)
- Anticipate industry shifts in AI, Robotics, and Digital Twin technologies to pivot business strategies
- Lead the business development and closure of multi-million/billion dollar contracts, providing negotiations and deal structuring
- Develop and maintain deep-rooted relationships with C-level executives of Fortune 500 manufacturing companies
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a world-class team of BD managers and solution architects
- Implement best-in-class sales enablement tools and methodologies to improve team productivity and win rates
