Requirements
- 7 years or more of related air quality impact analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, environmental sciences, or engineering (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience in air quality modeling projects using AERMOD.
- Strong technical and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to grow through on-the-job internal and external training.
- Knowledge of atmospheric processes related to air quality (desired).
- Experience with CALPUFF (desired).
- Experience in mobile source activity analysis or EPA MOVES (desired).
Responsibilities
- Lead air quality impact analysis projects including input data collection and interpretation of results.
- Manage interactions with Project Managers and clients to ensure successful project completion.
- Direct junior team members on specific tasks and provide technical guidance.
- Perform air quality impact analysis using USEPA models such as AERMOD and CALPUFF.
- Visualize, analyze, and interpret model data and environmental datasets.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to project teams and clients.
- Mentor junior team members on air dispersion modeling techniques.
- Participate in professional organizations and technical conferences.
