Requirements

  • 7 years or more of related air quality impact analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, environmental sciences, or engineering (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience in air quality modeling projects using AERMOD.
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to grow through on-the-job internal and external training.
  • Knowledge of atmospheric processes related to air quality (desired).
  • Experience with CALPUFF (desired).
  • Experience in mobile source activity analysis or EPA MOVES (desired).

Responsibilities

  • Lead air quality impact analysis projects including input data collection and interpretation of results.
  • Manage interactions with Project Managers and clients to ensure successful project completion.
  • Direct junior team members on specific tasks and provide technical guidance.
  • Perform air quality impact analysis using USEPA models such as AERMOD and CALPUFF.
  • Visualize, analyze, and interpret model data and environmental datasets.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to project teams and clients.
  • Mentor junior team members on air dispersion modeling techniques.
  • Participate in professional organizations and technical conferences.
