- 2+ years of experience leading a professional development team
- K-12 teaching experience
- Proven experience as a people manager fostering collaboration and team culture
- Exceptional presentation skills for teachers and administrators
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
- Strong organizational and methodical project management abilities
- Analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 60% during back-to-school season and 40% throughout the year
- Must live in California
- Must live close to a major airport
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists.
- Oversee professional development and district implementations across California to drive IXL usage and student growth.
- Manage a small number of district accounts, working directly with leaders to support implementation.
- Monitor statewide K-12 initiatives to ensure IXL strategies remain aligned.
- Collaborate with the sales team to grow customer relationships.
- Analyze data to drive decision-making and project strategy.
- Observe professional development sessions and provide actionable feedback to team members.
