Requirements

- 2+ years of experience leading a professional development team
- K-12 teaching experience
- Experienced people manager with a focus on fostering collaboration and team growth
- Exceptional presentation skills for teachers and administrators
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Self-starter with analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Must live in California, close to a major airport
Responsibilities
- Stay informed on statewide initiatives impacting K-12 schools and districts within California, and ensure IXL implementations and professional development are aligned
- Create and maintain a positive culture that drives performance and outcomes
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and grow customer relationships
- Partner with district leaders in California to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation aligned to their goals
- Travel to support districts, provide professional development, and observe team members—up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year
- Regularly observe professional development and provide actionable feedback to your team
- Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps
