Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a track record of shipping production-grade features.
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript/Node.js.
- Strong instincts for performance, architectural patterns, and rendering challenges in visual editors.
- Strong API and backend fluency with experience designing scalable REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI and agentic systems.
- Strong product intuition with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Customer-first mindset with experience speaking directly with enterprise customers.
- Cloud fluency with experience architecting systems on AWS or Google Cloud.
- High agency and ability to define solutions iteratively.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the APIs and SDKs that power Publish to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Contribute to the backend infrastructure and APIs enabling agentic AI-driven content workflows.
- Act as a technical bridge translating enterprise requirements into scalable platform solutions.
- Manage the complexity of a visual CMS to ensure reliable rendering across diverse customer tech stacks and design systems.
- Shape technical direction through code reviews, pair programming, and proactive ownership of technical debt.
- Drive launches by anticipating edge cases and scoping projects for value and efficiency.
