Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in revenue accounting, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Big 4 or public accounting/audit experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles preferred.
- Experience reviewing contracts or SOWs is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- CPA or CPA-track is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the application of ASC 606 guidance for consulting and project-based contracts.
- Review customer contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) to understand billing terms.
- Prepare customer invoices and assist in reviewing for accuracy.
- Maintain and review 1099 contractor costs to ensure alignment with billing.
- Support accounts receivable and cash collection activities, including monitoring aging reports.
- Assist with revenue and AR reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing, contract, and collection-related issues.
- Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects and system initiatives as assigned.
