Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably at a SaaS company or at a public accounting firm.
- CPA or CA designation, or path towards such designation strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically NetSuite.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with Salesforce and/or Stripe is a plus.
- Passion for the accounting profession and high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Book journal entries for revenue, accounts receivable, allowance for doubtful accounts, deferred revenue, and cash.
- Perform month-end reconciliations for revenue-related balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare month-end analysis of P&L and balance sheet account variances.
- Produce clear, well-structured documentation and accounting memos.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in financial operations.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits.
- Execute on key internal controls.
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
