Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments.
- Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Web API, and microservices architecture.
- Proven track record of owning and evolving production services including schema migrations and API versioning.
- Strong experience with distributed systems concepts such as event-driven architecture, message queues, and eventual consistency.
- Strong experience with AI developer tools.
- Deep proficiency with relational databases (MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL).
- Demonstrated experience making and documenting architectural decisions.
- Hands-on DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.
- Experience designing robust, versioned REST APIs with security considerations.
- Experience with mentoring and uplifting junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Some frontend exposure (Vue.js and/or TypeScript) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve foundational TMS platform services, driving architecture, reliability, and roadmap.
- Lead backend architecture decisions through documentation and analysis of service boundaries.
- Design and maintain clean, versioned REST APIs for internal teams and AI agents.
- Own non-functional requirements including performance, observability, security, and availability.
- Manage services end-to-end, including architecture, coding, deployment, monitoring, and on-call support.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and architectural guidance.
- Champion best practices in testing, code quality, incident response, and continuous delivery.
- Drive DevOps and operational excellence by owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers to shape the platform roadmap.
