Requirements

  • Hands-on people management experience, specifically leading distributed, international teams.
  • Proven track record in HR Operations across multiple countries.
  • Deep knowledge of Time & Attendance matters, wage/hour laws, and complex policy exceptions.
  • Specific expertise in APAC labor law, T&A case resolution, and compliance.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international, scale-up environment.
  • Comfortable working in a service level environment (SLAs/KPIs).
  • Tech-savvy with experience in digital tools and process optimization.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to maintain high data integrity and manage confidential information.
  • Strong coaching mindset and passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Guide, coach, and develop direct reports to build a high-performing T&A team.
  • Foster a positive team culture in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Lead performance management by overseeing evaluations and aligning goals.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for high-risk T&A topics and complex wage-hour disputes.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Legal to enhance T&A workflows.
  • Optimize processes and identify opportunities for automation and AI-assisted tools.
  • Ensure compliant service delivery while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Manage and maintain employee data with strict confidentiality and discretion.
