Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Billing Operations, or a cross-functional role in a tech-enabled services, transportation, or field services environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract-to-billing translation including rate structures and payment terms.
- Working knowledge of revenue accounting principles, including revenue recognition and ASC 606 compliance.
- Proven ability to manage operational boundaries between revenue operations and accounting teams.
- Track record of driving operational accountability across cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading end-to-end billing dispute resolution and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP.
- 5+ years of people management experience with ability to develop team members.
- Willingness to travel for occasional visits to the field office.
Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee the Deal Desk function, translating service agreements into billing configurations.
- Maintain alignment between contracted pricing and portal configurations across all active accounts.
- Own operational accountability for the monthly billing data cycle and enforce submission deadlines.
- Review and approve all invoices, serving as the escalation authority for high-value items.
- Lead end-to-end billing dispute resolution processes and implement upstream process improvements.
- Manage revenue operations integration protocols with Revenue Accounting for accurate month-end closing.
- Coordinate escalation pathways for product configuration and payment matters with Legal and Product teams.
- Lead, develop, and retain a team of Billing Admins and AR staff.
- Deliver weekly performance reporting to the Executive team regarding billing accuracy and DSO.
