Requirements
- Master's degree in economics, statistics, epidemiology, public health, or related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in M&E framework development and implementation research.
- Demonstrated expertise in survey instrument design, sampling strategies, and power calculations.
- High proficiency in Stata and/or R for managing and analyzing large quantitative datasets.
- Proven experience leading large-scale primary data collection and managing data quality protocols.
- Ability to provide senior-level technical leadership and make complex, judgment-based design decisions.
- Experience managing and developing direct reports, including performance management and technical coaching.
- Ability to lead MLE work across teams and with external partners without direct authority.
- Willingness to work hours that overlap with teams in India and Africa.
- Strong knowledge of quasi-experimental and experimental research designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and maintenance of global and country-level MLE frameworks for nutrition programs.
- Oversee large-scale primary data collection, survey design, enumerator training, and data quality protocols.
- Conduct implementation research including process evaluations and pilot studies.
- Provide technical leadership to identify risks, design methodologies, and ensure data validity.
- Translate complex MLE findings into decision-relevant insights for program leadership and donors.
- Manage direct reports, project budgets, and scopes of work for multiple work streams.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate evidence into scale-up strategies.
