Requirements
- 2-3+ years of hands-on reinsurance experience (cedant, reinsurer, or broker side).
- Strong working knowledge of treaty and facultative structures.
- Proficiency with cession workflows, recoverables, and Schedule F.
- Experience gathering client requirements or scoping system implementations.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, actionable specifications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with insurance or reinsurance software platforms (nice to have).
- Familiarity with P&C markets (nice to have).
- Microsoft Azure familiarity (nice to have).
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or CSM (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects and clients as the reinsurance domain expert during solution design, discovery, and scoping.
- Map client reinsurance programs—treaty, facultative, assumed, ceded—to platform capabilities.
- Identify gaps between client requirements and platform capabilities and drive resolution.
- Own functional specifications and implementation tickets to provide a clear build plan.
- Support delivery teams as the reinsurance authority and participate in UAT and validation.
- Manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Build and maintain reinsurance scoping frameworks, requirement templates, and implementation playbooks.
- Act as an internal subject matter expert for product, engineering, and delivery teams.
