Requirements

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Communications, Nonprofit Leadership, or Community Development preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, nonprofit leadership, or maternal health.
  • Strong understanding of perinatal mental health and challenges impacting BIPOC communities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, reproductive justice, and culturally responsive practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic outreach.
  • Proficiency with virtual communication platforms and project management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective team communication.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with organizations focused on maternal mental health, reproductive justice, and health equity.
  • Develop collaborative programming that supports education, advocacy, and leadership development within BIPOC communities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Alliance and external stakeholders, including hospitals, universities, and public health agencies.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts to increase awareness of PSI programs and engage BIPOC professionals and community leaders.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from community stakeholders to inform strategic direction and program improvements.
  • Maintain partnership records, outreach tracking, and engagement data for regular reporting to the Director.
