Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering Operations (EngOps), Program Management, or a similar data-heavy engineering role.
- Expert-level administration skills in Jira Cloud.
- Power user proficiency with Jellyfish.
- Deep understanding of Agile metrics and Engineering Investment categories.
- Strong knowledge of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, Time to Restore Service).
- Advanced proficiency in Jira Automation and JQL.
- Foundational knowledge of SDLC, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience leveraging AI agents and LLMs for data analysis and scripting.
- Ability to write basic Python or JavaScript for API integrations (preferred).
- Experience with GitHub and AWS (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain complex workflows, permission schemes, and automation rules in Jira Cloud.
- Map Jira signals to Jellyfish allocation buckets to ensure accurate investment distribution tracking.
- Standardize issue types and field usage across 20+ squads to ensure data integrity.
- Utilize Atlassian Intelligence and LLMs to automate ticket hygiene, triage requests, and generate executive summaries.
- Monitor DORA and flow metrics to identify bottlenecks and systemic improvements.
- Partner with Finance to leverage Jellyfish data for R&D tax credit reporting and labor capitalization.
