Requirements
- Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or MD)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in medical publications
- Experience with manuscripts, posters, abstracts, podium presentations, and scientific platforms
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
- Proficiency in professional medical editorial processes, specifically AMA style
- Working knowledge of ethical guidelines including ICMJE and GPP2022
- Ability to multitask and manage projects within tight deadlines
- CMPP certification is preferred
- Experience with Heme/Oncology and solid tumors is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with strategic medical communication recommendations to support brand goals
- Lead the independent execution of scientific content development activities
- Supervise and mentor Associate Scientific Directors
- Collaborate with internal and freelance staff to manage writing and content production
- Conduct background research, data-checking, and reference annotation
