Requirements
- Substantial executive leadership experience managing a complex, multi-product portfolio at varying maturity stages.
- Background in cloud, PaaS, DevOps, developer tooling, or infrastructure platforms.
- Proven history of scaling through a layer of people managers (Directors/Principals).
- Proven track record of taking net-new products from early strategy to global scale.
- Experience modernizing mature products in shifting technical ecosystems.
- Strong ability to turn complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated customer value.
- Expertise in navigating enterprise needs and making high-stakes strategic trade-offs.
- Experience connecting Product with revenue leadership and architecting modern organizational structures.
- Deep understanding of developer workflows.
- Practical, highly curious approach to how AI-native development is impacting product discovery and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Architect and drive commercial lifecycles across the product portfolio (Upsun Cloud, Upsun Blackfire, and Upsun Dispatch).
- Partner with the CPTO as a strategic peer to balance technical direction with commercial focus.
- Turn market insights and technical tailwinds into product priorities, roadmaps, and business metrics.
- Connect product strategy directly to revenue leadership including Sales, CS, and Marketing.
- Embed continuous customer discovery into the engineering cycle to build a responsive feedback loop.
- Hire and shape a direct leadership team of Directors and Principals.
- Evolve organizational design, ownership models, and cultural ways of working.
