Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales engineering, application engineering, business development, sales, or sales management within an industrial products or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial markets, customer operations, competitive landscapes, and business strategies.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and successfully managing strategic customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer challenges and develop value-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and opportunities simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and performance evaluation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Drive consistent year-over-year revenue growth and market share expansion within an assigned portfolio of strategic accounts.
- Develop, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including operational and executive-level decision-makers.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a world-class customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineering, pricing, customer service, quality, accounting, and supply chain teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Act as the internal project leader for customer opportunities, coordinating resources and ensuring timely execution.
- Gather and communicate Voice of the Customer insights to support product development and market strategy.
- Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and growth strategies based on market trends and competitive analysis.
- Monitor business performance and sales metrics to ensure operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer value.
