Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech marketing experience, including exposure to sales, forecasting, or market research functions.
  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience in oncology, with strong preference for hematologic malignancies and CLL experience.
  • Proven track record in US pharmaceutical market launches, including NME and expanded indication launches.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing DTC television and multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of highly competitive pharmaceutical markets and oncology commercialization dynamics.
  • Experience managing and developing teams with a strong leadership and coaching capability.
  • Excellent cross-functional influencing skills and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking abilities with attention to data-driven decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the US promotional strategy for HCP and patient audiences across all Brukinsa indications.
  • Define brand messaging, segmentation, targeting, and integrated promotional tactics across personal and non-personal channels.
  • Develop and execute direct-to-consumer (DTC) media strategy, including TV and digital campaign alignment with media partners.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to incorporate field insights into strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Corporate Affairs to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders.
  • Oversee promotional review processes and maintain strong alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with analytics teams to define market research needs and measure promotional effectiveness.
  • Lead agency and vendor relationships while managing promotional budgets and ensuring ROI.
  • Communicate brand strategy and performance updates across leadership forums and business reviews.
  • Coach and develop team members to strengthen organizational capability and performance.
