Requirements
- 3+ years of customer service experience at a financial institution or 18 months of Mountain America Credit Union member service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to navigate and utilize over 30 distinct computer systems.
- Strong proficiency in Windows-based operating systems, internet browsers, and email.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to de-escalate calls.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to multitask and type notes while actively engaged in phone conversations.
- Knowledge of internet security protocols and best practices.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new fraud trends.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary phone support for members and internal departments regarding fraud inquiries.
- File fraud affidavits and card claims using the Quavo system.
- Resolve card and online banking alerts, including placing or removing account restrictions.
- Conduct member interviews concerning check issues, Zelle transactions, and account transfers.
- Support business units with identity verification and Red Flags concerns.
- Log CRM complaints and submit SAR/UAR referrals as required.
- Communicate fraud trends and process improvement feedback to management.
