Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or other relevant field.
- Active license to practice therapy in good standing (LPC) in California.
- 3+ years of relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Experience teaching relaxation strategies and Motivational Interviewing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, and Dietitians.
- Comfort and competence with administrative technologies including Zoom, Slack, and Google Drive.
- Experience charting electronically.
- Experience delivering care on telehealth platforms preferred.
- Genuine passion for improving patient lives and transforming GI care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of care providers including MDs and Dietitians to provide integrated care.
- Utilize evidence-based clinical interventions including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to design patient goals.
- Initiate and maintain health records in an electronic health record system.
- Participate in professional training, clinical coordination meetings, and development of best practices.
