Requirements
- Active LCSW license in California is required.
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience delivering therapeutic interventions.
- Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
- Ability to teach relaxation strategies impacting the brain-gut connection.
- Effective communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Competency with administrative technologies like Zoom, Slack, and Google Drive.
- Experience documenting in electronic health records.
- Experience delivering care via telehealth platforms preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of MDs and dietitians in a digital integrated healthcare environment.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to design personalized treatment goals for patients with GI conditions.
- Maintain accurate health records in electronic health systems and comply with clinical protocols.
- Participate in ongoing clinical coordination meetings and professional development activities.
- Contribute to the development of psychological best practices and team knowledge sharing.
