Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in law firms or professional services in a BD, marketing, research, operations, or data role.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Mergermarket, Refinitiv, DealCloud, or Bureau van Dijk.
- Clear understanding of business intelligence data and its application.
- Strong problem-solving instinct and ability to diagnose root causes.
- Comfortable learning and applying new tools and technologies.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with lawyers, BD professionals, and technical teams.
- Self-starter capable of making progress with minimal briefing.
- Experience working with or alongside product/tech teams (desirable).
- Hands-on data cleaning and maintenance experience (desirable).
- Familiarity with AI tools in a practical context (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of business intelligence data including companies, deals, industries, and people.
- Work hands-on with data management tools to curate, classify, and improve datasets.
- Identify data coverage and quality gaps and collaborate with product and engineering to fix them.
- Maintain and improve source and publisher databases.
- Use AI tools pragmatically to refine and speed up workflows.
- Engage with clients to validate product direction and address needs.
- Collaborate with the Head of Content Intelligence and Product on roadmap decisions.
