Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of physical or hardware products.
- Proven experience taking a hardware product from concept through mass production, including EVT/DVT/PVT validation gates.
- Experience working client-side with external industrial-design firms or contract manufacturers.
- Comfortable across mechanical, electrical, and embedded/firmware domains.
- Ability to own firmware requirements and understand hardware/software interfaces.
- Strong commercial and analytical judgment to build cost/reliability business cases and defend trade-offs.
- Experience with connected or field-deployed hardware (e.g., IoT, kiosks, vending, robotics, EV charging, ATMs) is a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Define the product roadmap and requirements for the next-generation kiosk platform.
- Manage relationships with third-party design and manufacturing partners through a gated development process.
- Set firmware requirements and define the hardware/software interface to ensure independent evolution of hardware and software.
- Own the reliability loop by interpreting field-failure data to drive design interventions and future product improvements.
- Monitor hardware quality metrics and build business cases for hardware investments and design tradeoffs.
- Travel to the field, design firms, and manufacturing sites as required by the program.
