Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within life sciences or clinical research services
  • Strong expertise in IRB and IBC processes, regulatory frameworks, and human research protection environments
  • Deep understanding of the clinical research ecosystem, including sponsors, CROs, and research institutions
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic territory and account plans
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills with senior-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline and account management
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify client needs and translate them into solutions
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and highly specialized environment
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sales efforts for IRB and IBC service offerings across new and existing accounts within the clinical research and life sciences sector
  • Develop and expand long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including research institutions, sponsors, and operational leaders
  • Own the full opportunity lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiation
  • Collaborate closely with internal commercial, operational, and delivery teams to ensure aligned and high-quality solution execution
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and refine positioning of IRB and IBC services
  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach, networking, conferences, and targeted prospecting
  • Manage pipeline activity, accounts, and engagement tracking through CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Support field marketing initiatives, including events, webinars, and industry conferences to strengthen market presence
