Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in consultative, B2C, or high-empathy sales roles, ideally in healthcare, elder care, insurance, financial services, or related fields.
- Proven ability to sell directly to individuals or families navigating complex financial, legal, or healthcare decisions.
- Experience building and maintaining referral networks with healthcare professionals such as social workers, discharge planners, or facility administrators.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and build trust quickly in sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality with a proactive approach to pipeline generation and follow-up discipline.
- High emotional intelligence and resilience when working with families in crisis or high-stress circumstances.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple referral and client pipelines simultaneously.
- Comfort working autonomously in a remote-first, performance-driven environment.
- Residency in or strong familiarity with key target markets (TX, TN, or NC metro areas).
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a strong referral network across healthcare and senior care ecosystems, including nursing homes, hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, and social service professionals.
- Build trusted relationships with referral partners to position the service as a preferred Medicaid support resource for families in need.
- Attend industry events and engage with healthcare stakeholders to strengthen visibility and referral flow within your territory.
- Conduct consultative discovery calls with families to assess Medicaid situations and identify appropriate support solutions.
- Present services with empathy and clarity, guiding families through emotionally complex and time-sensitive decisions.
- Convert qualified referrals into enrolled clients by building trust and addressing concerns related to cost, eligibility, and process.
- Manage a structured pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression through the sales cycle.
- Oversee client onboarding and maintain communication with both families and referral partners throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Track referral performance and strengthen relationships with high-value partners to drive sustained pipeline growth.
