Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in investment management, financial services, or capital markets sales.
- Post-secondary degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Completion of CSC or CFA Level I (required).
- Strong understanding of capital markets, exempt market investments, and financial advisory ecosystems.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with financial advisors and institutional clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both English and French (required).
- Strong sales mindset with experience in proactive outreach and relationship-based selling.
- Highly organized with strong CRM discipline (e.g., Salesforce or similar tools).
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
- CFA, CFP, or CIM designation considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan in collaboration with senior sales leadership to grow market share within assigned regions.
- Conduct proactive outreach to investment advisors, portfolio managers, and institutional firms to generate new business opportunities.
- Educate and support financial professionals on investment products, market insights, and portfolio solutions.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with advisors, brokers, and dealers to drive engagement and product adoption.
- Support preparation for client meetings, presentations, roadshows, and industry events.
- Provide timely updates on market trends, fund performance, and investment opportunities to current and prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a high level of client service and consistent communication.
