Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the fire service
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with public safety UAS operations
- Strong understanding of Fire/EMS command structures, incident response, and operational workflows
- Experience engaging with leadership-level stakeholders including fire chiefs and municipal officials
- Ability to discuss deployment models, dispatch integration, procurement, and operational planning
- Strong presentation, communication, and public speaking skills
- Self-driven with the ability to manage a large geographic territory independently
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 75% of the time
- Wildland, high-rise, or fire air operations experience preferred
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred
- Prior experience supporting or managing drone programs is a strong plus
- Sales or business development experience is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with Fire/EMS agencies, including chiefs, command staff, and elected officials
- Deliver compelling in-person and virtual demonstrations tailored to operational and executive audiences
- Act as a subject matter expert on drone operations, deployment models, regulatory frameworks, and best practices
- Support agencies in building Drone as First Responder (DFR), HazMat, USAR, wildfire, and emergency response programs
- Assist with funding strategies, budgeting, procurement planning, and implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure successful deployments
- Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Maintain deep awareness of emerging public safety technologies and UAS industry trends
