Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven technical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Twilio Messaging and/or Voice products.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful technology and experience working with APIs.
  • Proven ability to understand and resolve issues with cloud solutions.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, specifically TCP/UDP, SSL, and TLS.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting Twilio helper libraries in collaboration with customer developers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating across internal and external groups.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage high workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the designated technical support engineering contact for strategic customers.
  • Resolve complex technical problems by performing deep analysis and providing proactive guidance to minimize business downtime.
  • Collaborate with customers’ developers to troubleshoot usage of Twilio helper libraries.
  • Provide technical feedback to internal Product and Engineering teams to influence product improvements.
  • Partner with customer architects and support personnel to solve high-impact, complex problems.
  • Report reproducible bugs via JIRA and communicate findings effectively with teammates via Slack.
  • Analyze customer trends and patterns to drive improvements in support processes.
